Apply or Nominate an Emerging Leader to Attend National Forum 2026
PLNZ, together with Peter Pal, is proud to offer two Regional Scholarships for the 2026 National Forum.
This is a special opportunity for two nominated member librarians to attend and be part of the national conversation.
What is a Regional Scholarship?
The Regional Scholarship supports librarians who may not otherwise be able to attend the National Forum due to factors such as library size, geographic isolation, or limited budgets.
Designed to ensure emerging leaders, who may not otherwise have the opportunity, can attend the National Forum.
Who is eligible?
PLNZ members who face challenges due to size, isolation, or budget constraints that would otherwise prevent them from attending.
What is included?
Each scholarship covers:
Return flights to Christchurch
Two nights’ accommodation
(Additional nights may be arranged in discussion with successful candidates)Ground transport
Full registration to the National Forum
One Gala Dinner ticket
There are two scholarships available in 2026.

Complete the online nomination or expression of interest (EOI) form
Submissions close Sunday March 15 2026.
